We are scientists, engineers, Indigenous knowledge holders, legal and policy experts, economists, communicators, philosophers, conservationists, agriculturalists, artists, teachers, social psychologists, architects and so much more.
Our interdisciplinary work means we can address every aspect of the biodiversity crisis – learning from First Nations people, solving technical challenges, supporting businesses to adopt practices that help protect our biodiversity, informing local and global governance and law, and working with local communities. Complex problems require the joined-up solutions that arise from true interdisciplinarity.
With our diverse and inclusive community of partners and supporters, we have pledged to work together to help turn around our biodiversity crisis and protect the richness of life on our planet.
Cross-faculty collaborators
We are supported by people across every faculty in the University of Melbourne who are bringing their skills and passions to bear in addressing Earth’s biodiversity crisis.
